This is a post I hoped I would never have to do but unfortunately our hopes and dreams were shattered on Monday when Evie passed away. We are so grateful to have had 4 days with our beautiful little girl, we only wish it could have been much longer. I know Chris has kept the blog updated but I felt I wanted to post one last time to say thanks to everyone for all your support, comments, calls and texts over the last few months, they really helped us through.

Phillip and I are looking forward to seeing friends and family again, we appreciate everyone giving us some space over the past few days.

Evie will be coming home next Wednesday and we are planning a service to say goodbye to our little girl on Friday 21st. We are not sure of any arrangments as yet but please contact either Phillip or I or any of our families as we should know within the next few days.

Update on Kerri and Evie

Kerri and Phillip are still at the hospital so this is Kerri's brother Chris giving another quick update. Kerri is doing well after her section and might be getting out of hospital today. She was able to get up to the NICU yesterday to see baby Evie and was allowed to touch her for the first time. Evie had a bit of an up and down day yesterday with her CO2 levels but the doctors were able to get her gases in check again by tea time and she had a stable night. The doctors have been able to decrease the Nitric oxide and oxygen levels so keep your fingers crossed Evie will continue to improve.
